Instone Air has been a global leader in animal transportation for over a century. It all began in 1919 with Samuel Instone's Instone Air Line operating from Croydon Airport in Surrey. The company quickly gained fame for being the first to fly a racehorse, solidifying its reputation as a global leader in bloodstock and livestock transportation. The company also holds other notable aviation firsts, such as being the first commercial airline to introduce uniforms to its pilots and cabin staff. And in 1920, Samuel Instone was reported to have had the first phone call from his home to a passenger on a Paris-bound flight!
Instone Air remains a family-run company and continues to provide thorough and safe air logistics for all live animals, of all sizes, from racehorses to elephants and even 500 cattle!
